Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled and responsible Electrician (Solar Projects) to support the electrical installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning activities at solar project sites. The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical systems and be comfortable working with On-Grid & Off-Grid Solar PV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation and wiring work at solar project sites
- Install and connect Solar PV Panels, Inverters, AC/DC Cables, DBs, and Electrical Panels
- Perform DC and AC cable laying, termination, crimping, and routing
- Assist in installation and connection of On-Grid & Off-Grid Solar Systems
- Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and basic fault identification
- Ensure proper earthing, cable dressing, and electrical connections
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and SLDs
- Support the Project Engineer / Site Engineer during testing and commissioning
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out as per project specifications and safety standards
- Follow proper PPE and electrical safety practices at the project site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and electrical materials properly
- Report electrical faults, site issues, and material requirements to the supervisor
Requirements
- ITI – Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience in electrical, solar, EPC, or construction projects
- Practical knowledge of Solar PV installation and electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of On-Grid & Off-Grid Solar Systems
- Knowledge of AC/DC wiring, cable termination, earthing, and electrical panels
- Ability to read basic Electrical Drawings / SLDs
- Knowledge of electrical tools and testing instruments
- Willingness to work at PAN India project locations
- Good teamwork, discipline, and site coordination skills
